For those not already familiar, WILD FLAG is the super group comprised of former Lookout Records artist Mary Timony, ex-Sleater Kinney members Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss, and former Minders drummer Rebecca Cole. The four women only announced the formation of the band 2 months ago, yet this past week had their first tour of the West Coast! The highly anticipated shows featured brand new songs written in the past 8 weeks as well as a hand full of covers from the likes of the Rolling Stones, Patti Smith, Velvet Underground and others.
